Our Mission

 I long ago fell in love with the historic town square in Hernando, MS! Actually, there are very few town squares that I haven’t fallen in love with. I love the ability to stroll around a square, gazing into the various shops, stop and get a coffee or ice cream, and get pulled into a boutique by my wife and daughter. Whether the square is in Hernando, Collierville, or Franklin, TN they all have a certain charm that inspires us today and elevates our history. From the common walls of the buildings, the architectural detail of the brick and stone, detailed wrought iron and stained glass these areas have a distinct pull for everyone.

When, with my partners, we purchased and renovated the Hernando Golf & Racquet Club, I long thought that the portion of the course along McIngvale Road could be much more than a maintenance building and materials staging area. When I saw the successful mixed use developments in other areas of our state and in our neighboring states I wondered if we could do something like that in Hernando. McIngvale Square is the result of those thoughts.

McIngvale Square is intended to bring much needed shops, and restaurants to the McIngvale / Byhalia Road area. In doing so we are wanting to extend our town square architecture to this area as well with all of the detail and historical accuracy you would expect strolling around our courthouse. I hope all of our friends and family in Hernando will join us in launching this exciting new development!
